What this is

Singapore Rent Map (singaporerent.sg) is a free map of rent prices reported anonymously by tenants in Singapore. It is not a listings portal — there are no brokers, no advertisements for units, and no sign-up.

Where the data comes from

Every data point is a rent pin submitted by a tenant on the map. Data is community-submitted and unverified — it is not an official record of rental transactions, and it is not affiliated with HDB, URA, or any property portal.

How the numbers are computed

• Medians are calculated after trimming extreme outliers with the 1.5×IQR rule, so a single typo or troll submission cannot skew the numbers.
• Report counts show the raw number of submissions before outlier trimming.
• District and town pages with fewer than 5 reports are excluded from search engine indexing until they have enough data.
• Pins hidden by community reports are excluded from all statistics.

Using the data

Aggregate medians by district and property type are available on the statistics page and as a CSV download. No per-tenant rows are exported.
