1. About this platform

singaporerent.sg is a community-driven rent transparency map. All rental data is voluntarily submitted by members of the public. This platform is not a property listing service and does not facilitate property transactions.

2. No guarantee of accuracy

All pins are user-submitted and unverified. singaporerent.sg makes no representations as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data on this platform. Do not make rental decisions based solely on this data. Always verify rental prices independently before signing any tenancy agreement.

3. Permitted use

You may use this platform to:

• View community-submitted rental data for personal research.
• Submit your own genuine rental price (for a property you currently rent or have recently rented).
• Drop a seeker pin to indicate your rental budget and requirements.

4. Prohibited use

You must not:

• Submit false, fabricated, or misleading rental data.
• Use this platform for commercial property listings or agent advertising.
• Facilitate short-term rental arrangements (fewer than 3 months for private property; fewer than 6 months for HDB) — these are prohibited under Singapore law.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download data from this platform.
• Attempt to identify any individual from the anonymised data.
• Submit data for properties you do not have direct knowledge of.

5. Not a CEA-licensed platform

singaporerent.sg is not operated by a licensed estate agent and does not provide estate agency services as defined under Singapore's Estate Agents Act. No CEA-licensed activity is conducted on this platform. If you are a licensed property agent, you may not use this platform to advertise, solicit, or conduct estate agency work.

6. Community moderation

Pins reported by 3 or more community members are automatically hidden pending review. We reserve the right to remove any pin that violates these terms without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

singaporerent.sg is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on this platform or its data.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
